THE EARL OF SCARBROUGHMy Lords, I have the honour to present to your Lordships two Messages from Her Majesty The Queen, signed by her own hand. The first is as follows:
§ "I have received your Address praying that Regulations 1 to 6 of the Defence (Armed Forces) Regulations, 1939, be continued in force for a further period of one year until the tenth day of December, 1959. I will give directions accordingly."
§ The second is in these terms:
§ "I have received your Address praying that the Supplies and Services (Transitional Powers) Act, 1945, be continued in force for a further period of one year until the tenth day of December, 1959. I will give directions accordingly."
