HL Deb 11 November 1958 vol 212 c348
VISCOUNT ALEXANDER OF HILLSBOROUGH

My Lords, I rise to ask a Question of which I have given the noble Earl, the Leader of the House, Private Notice—namely, whether he can tell the House whether there is to be an early statement with regard to the situation in Cyprus, which is giving anxiety to so many people.

THE EARL OF HOME

My Lords, I hope that a general statement on Cyprus will be possible in another place tomorrow, and if that is so I will repeat it here.

VISCOUNT ALEXANDER OF HILLSBOROUGH

Thank you.
