THE CHAIRMAN OF COMMITTEES (LORD MERTHYR)My Lords, these two Private Bills were passed in this House last Session but did not complete their stages in the House of Commons and were, by Resolution of both Houses, carried over to the present Session. I now have to acquaint the House that, pursuant to the Resolutions passed by this House on July 31 last, the agents for the Promoters of these Bills have deposited the Bills in the Parliament Office, together with a declaration stating that each Bill is the same in every respect as the Bill at the last stage of the proceedings thereon in this House at the last Session. I therefore beg leave to present the Bills and to move the Motion standing in my name on the Order Paper.
