My Lords, I beg to ask the Question which stands in my name on the Order Paper.

To ask Her Majesty's Government if they are in a position to make a statement on forestry policy.]

My Lords, with the permission of the House I propose to make a statement on forestry policy shortly after half past three. Accordingly, I should be obliged if the noble Earl would await that statement.
