§ To ask Her Majesty's Government if they will publish and make available to members of both Houses of Parliament the report on the jute industry in Dundee and Angus submitted to the Secretary of State for Scotland on 31st March by the Scottish Council (Development and Industry).]
§ THE MINISTER OF STATE, SCOTTISH OFFICE (LORD STRATHCLYDE)My Lords, it would not be in accordance with the practice of Her Majesty's Government to publish a document of this kind. But, with the permission of the Scottish Council (Development and Industry), copies of the report are being made available in the Libraries of both Houses.
