HL Deb 29 October 1957 vol 205 c536
EARL FORTESCUE

My Lords, I should first like to inform your Lordships that my noble Leader will be making a statement at half-past three to-day, or soon after, with regard to the Prime Minister's visit to America. I should also like to refer to the Motion of the noble Lord, Lord Teynham, and the business for to-morrow and the day after. There are a great number of speakers—twenty-five at least—and so it has been arranged through the usual channels that we shall sit late tomorrow. We shall adjourn for dinner from 7.15 until 8.30, and we shall continue the debate again at half-past two, instead of at three o'clock, the next day. That has been arranged through the usual channels and will, I am sure, satisfy everybody.
