HL Deb 14 November 1957 vol 206 c350
THE SECRETARY OF STATE FOR COMMONWEALTH RELATIONS (THE EARL OF HOME)

My Lords, in order that the Motion standing in my name may be moved at roughly the same time in both Houses of Parliament, I wonder whether I may suggest to the House that we should go on now with the Motion standing in the name of the noble Lord, Lord Burden, and that I should move at a slightly later hour the Motion to set up a Tribunal of Inquiry. I have consulted my noble friends opposite, and I think that that would be convenient.

VISCOUNT ALEXANDER OF HILLSBOROUGH

My Lords, we should be willing to fall in with that arrangement if it meets the wishes of the rest of the Members of the House.
