HL Deb 13 November 1957 vol 206 c298
THE SECRETARY OF STATE FOR COMMONWEALTH RELATIONS (THE EARL OF HOME)

My Lords, I believe my right honourable friend the Postmaster General is going to make in another place a statement in which I believe your Lordships might be interested, and I will ask my noble friend, Lord Chesham, to make a statement at the same time in your Lordships' House. Although I do not know for certain, I believe I might have a statement to make on questions raised in another place yesterday concerning the bank rate. If so, I will take an opportunity of making that statement at about 3.30.
