LORD MESTONMy Lords, I beg leave to introduce a Bill to amend the common law rules as modified by sections sixteen and eighteen of the Matrimonial Causes Act, 1950, relating to the jurisdiction of the English courts in respect of matrimonial causes and to amend the common law rules relating to the recognition of decrees of oversea countries in respect of matrimonial causes. I beg to move that this Bill be now read a first time.
