HL Deb 06 June 1957 vol 204 c243

Returned from the Commons, agreed to, with an Amendment

THE LORD CHANCELLOR (VISCOUNT KILMUIR)

My Lords, with regard to the Amendment on the Dentists Bill about which your Lordships have just heard, may I just say that paragraph 7 of the First Schedule, which is omitted by the Amendment, becomes unnecessary as a result of the passing of the House of Commons Disqualification Bill which was considered by your Lordships. The Amendment is entirely consequential on the passing of that Bill, and I hope your Lordships will allow me to move that this Commons Amendment be now considered.

Moved, That the Commons Amendment be now considered.—(The Lord Chancellor.)

On Question, Motion agreed to.
