HL Deb 10 July 1957 vol 204 c921
VISCOUNT STANSGATE

My Lords, may I take a few seconds of your Lordships' time to express regret for a gross error into which I fell on Monday on a point of order? I insisted that one could speak twice on an Unstarred Question. I was absolutely wrong, and I hope your Lordships will overlook it. Particularly would I express regret to the noble Earl, Lord Onslow, and the noble Viscount Lord Mersey, for having challenged their well-established authority in these matters in this House.
