HL Deb 09 July 1957 vol 204 c872

House in Committee on re-commitment of the Bill (according to Order).

THE LORD CHANCELLOR (VISCOUNT KILMUIR)

I think it would be convenient if I simply said this. This is a Consolidation Bill, as your Lordships will have noted. I beg to move that the Amendments made by the Joint Committee on Consolidation Bills be agreed to. I think it would be for the convenience of your Lordships if we just took that Question, and we need not go through the rest of the Bill, if that is the wish of your Lordships. I beg to move.

Moved, That the Amendments made by the Joint Committee on Consolidation Bills be agreed to.—(The Lord Chancellor.)

On Question, Motion agreed to.

House resumed.
