§ THE PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY, MINISTRY OF DEFENCE (LORD MANCROFT)My Lords, as the Answer to the noble Lord's Question of necessity contains a large number of figures, I will, with his permission and that of the House, circulate a table in the OFFICIAL REPORT.
§ LORD LUCAS OF CHILWORTHMy Lords, will the noble Lord accept my thanks for the trouble he has gone to in providing all the figures that I think, of necessity, he must give me to find a full answer? The method he suggests of conveying the information to your Lordships' House is quite acceptable to me.
§ EARL HOWEMy Lords, I should like to ask whether the figures contained in the table will include the number of people thrown out of work by unofficial strikes.
