THE EARL OF HOMEMy Lords, before the House adjourns, I should like to tell your Lordships that it has been agreed to take the next stages of the Transport (Railway Finances) and Commonwealth Settlement Bills, which are expected to be formal, before the Committee stage of the Shops Bill next Tuesday. It is expected to adjourn the Committee stage of the Shops Bill, to which there are a great number of Amendments, at about 7 o'clock and to resume the Committee stage on the following Monday, February 18, at 2.30 p.m. I thought that it might be useful for your Lordships to know that.
