HL Deb 22 November 1956 vol 200 cc527-8
LORD SILKIN

My Lords, I beg to ask Her Majesty's Government a Question of which I have given private notice: Do they propose to make a statement on the international position, and, if so, when?

EARL FORTESCUE

My Lords, in reply to the noble Lord, I should like to inform your Lordships that a statement will be made by the Leader of the House at 4 o'clock. If necessary, the House will adjourn during pleasure until that hour, should Business be completed before then.
