THE EARL, OF HOMEMy Lords, there is another item of Business on the Paper, but before most of your Lordships go may I say that it is suggested, if convenient to your Lordships, that the House should meet at 4 o'clock on Monday, because it is almost certain that the Government will be able to make a statement that day.
§ LORD SILKINMy Lords, I understand there will be a statement at 4 o'clock, but there will be no other Business except the Commission at 5 o'clock. Unless the statement takes an 1366 hour there will be a considerable gap between the statement and the Commission.
