THE MINISTER OF STATE, SCOTTISH OFFICE (LORD STRATHCLYDE)

My Lords, these Regulations make the same provision in Scotland as that just approved for England and Wales. They have been agreed with the Scottish Local Authority Association. I beg to move.

Moved, That the Civil Defence (Fire Services) (Water) (Scotland) Regulations, 1956, reported from the Special Orders Committee on Wednesday the 14th instant, be approved.—(Lord Strathclyde.)
