Order of the Day for the Third Reading read.

LORD STRATHCLYDE

My Lords, I rise to move that this Bill be now read a third time. I have it in command from Her Majesty the Queen to signify to the House that Her Majesty, having been informed of the purport of the Food and Drugs (Scotland) Bill, has consented to place Her Majesty's interests, as far as concerned on behalf of the Crown, at the disposal of Parliament for the purposes of the Bill. Your Lordships are well aware of the objects and content of the Bill which is now before your Lordships for the third time. Therefore, I do not propose to say anything further about it. I simply beg to move that it now be read a third time.

Moved, That the Bill be now read 3a.—(Lord Strathclyde.)

On Question, Bill read 3a, and passed.
