HL Deb 21 June 1956 vol 197 c1199

Clause 2, page 3, line 38, leave out line 38.

THE LORD CHANCELLOR

My Lords, if I might deal quite shortly with Amendments Nos. 6, 7, 8 and 9 together, they relate to the local extent of the jurisdiction of the Liverpool Court of Passage and the County Courts in Admiralty matters. The first Amendment is tidying and the others allow the conferring of jurisdiction by consent. I beg to move that this House doth agree with the Commons in the first Amendment.

Moved, That this House doth agree with the Commons in the said Amendment.℄(The Lord Chancellor.)

On Question, Motion agreed to.
