HL Deb 20 December 1956 vol 200 c1330
THE MINISTER OF STATE, SCOTTISH OFFICE (LORD STRATHCLYDE)

My Lords, I rise to move that the Police Pensions (Scotland) (No. 3) Regulations, 1956, a copy of which was laid before your Lordships on November 29, be approved. These draft Regulations are in precisely similar terms to those which have just been described by my noble friend the Under-Secretary of State for the Home Department, and their effect is identical. There are, therefore, no special Scottish points arising from them to which the attention of your Lordships should be drawn. The form of the Regulations has been approved by the Statutory Scottish Police Council. I beg to move.

Moved, That the Draft Police Pensions (Scotland) (No. 3) Regulations, 1956, reported from the Special Orders Committee on Wednesday, the 12th instant, be approved.—(Lord Strathclyde.)

On Question, Motion agreed to.
