THE LORD PRESIDENT OF THE COUNCIL (THE MARQUESS OF SALIS-BURY)My Lords, before we proceed further, perhaps your Lordships will allow me to intervene for a few moments to repeat a brief statement which is being made in another place by my right honourable friend the Prime Minister. It is as follows:
"The discussions which have been taking place between Her Majesty's Government and Soviet leaders have been concluded. The results of the talks will be embodied in a statement which will be published early to-morrow."
For the convenience of the House, the statement will be laid as a White Paper which will be available in the Printed Paper Office when your Lordships next meet.
