HL Deb 26 October 1955 vol 194 c18
LORD TEVIOT

My Lords, I beg to ask the Question which stands in my name on the Order Paper.

[The Question was as follows:

To ask Her Majesty's Government whether a date has been fixed in regard to prohibiting the further use of agene in the national flour.]

THE JOINT PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY, MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURE, FISHERIES AND FOOD (EARL ST. ALDWYN)

My Lords, the arrangements made by millers and importers provide for agene to cease to be used in flour by the end of the year, as was announced by my right honourable friend in another place on December 21 last.
