THE LORD PRESIDENT OF THE COUNCIL (THE MARQUESS OF SALIS-BURY)My Lords, I beg to move the Motion standing in my name. In doing so, I am sure I shall be voicing the views of the whole House when I say how sorry we are that it has been impossible for the noble and learned Lord, Lord Radcliffe, to continue his membership of the Committee to which he has given 8 such valuable service. But we are equally glad to hear that the noble and learned Lord, Lord Reid, is available to take his place.
§ Moved, That the Lord Radcliffe be discharged from serving on the Select Committee, and that the Lord Reid be added to the Committee in his place.—(The Marquess of Salisbury.)
