HL Deb 25 October 1955 vol 194 cc7-8

2.52 p.m.

THE LORD PRESIDENT OF THE COUNCIL (THE MARQUESS OF SALIS-BURY)

My Lords, I beg to move the Motion standing in my name. In doing so, I am sure I shall be voicing the views of the whole House when I say how sorry we are that it has been impossible for the noble and learned Lord, Lord Radcliffe, to continue his membership of the Committee to which he has given such valuable service. But we are equally glad to hear that the noble and learned Lord, Lord Reid, is available to take his place.

Moved, That the Lord Radcliffe be discharged from serving on the Select Committee, and that the Lord Reid be added to the Committee in his place.—(The Marquess of Salisbury.)

On Question, Motion agreed to.
