HL Deb 22 March 1955 vol 192 c5
LORD MANCROFT

My Lords, these Regulations, and the further set relating to Scotland, which stand on the Order Paper in the name of my noble friend Lord Home, make for Scotland exactly the same changes as the two sets of Regulations for England and Wales which your Lordships have just been good enough to approve. Previously existing differences between the Scottish and the English codes have, of course, been carried forward, but there is no new point of difference for me to bring to your Lordships' attention. I beg to move the first Motion standing in the name of my noble friend Lord Home.

Moved, That the Police Pensions (Scotland) Draft Regulations, 1955, reported from the Special Orders Committee on Wednesday last, be approved.—(Lord Mancroft.)

On Question, Motion agreed to.
