HL Deb 19 July 1955 vol 193 cc812-3

My Lords, on behalf of my noble friend Lord Strathclyde, I would inform your Lordships that these Regulations are in essence the same as the corresponding Regulations for England and Wales, which were approved by your Lordships' House on June 30, on the Motion of my noble friend Lord Mancroft. I commend them to your Lordships, and beg to move their approval.

Moved, That the Draft Local Government Superannuation (Benefits) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations, 1955, reported from the Special Orders Committee on Wednesday last, be approved.—(Viscount Woolton.)

On Question, Motion agreed to.
