§ 4.44 p.m.
§ EARL FORTESCUEMy Lords, I have to inform your Lordships that, though you may not like it, it has been agreed through the usual channels that we should have the Second Reading of the Rating and Valuation (Miscellaneous Provisions) Bill on Monday next at half-past three. I am very sorry about it, but I am afraid it is inevitable. I have also to inform your Lordships that the formal meeting of the House to-morrow will be at a quarter-past eleven, and not at half-past eleven. Finally, I would inform you that the Summer Recess will commence on the 28th of this month.
§ EARL JOWITTHow long does the Recess go on for?
§ EARL FORTESCUEI am afraid I cannot say.
