Order of the Day read for the Bill to be considered on Report.

THE EARL OF ONSLOW

My Lords, on behalf of my noble friend, Lord Strathclyde, I beg to move that this Report be now received. The main purpose of the Order, which is promoted under the Private Legislation Procedure (Scotland) Act, 1936, is to empower the British Transport Commission to construct a short railway in the city of Edinburgh to connect the Edinburgh and Glasgow branch of the Commission's railway with the Edinburgh Suburban and South Side Line. I beg to move that this Report be now received.
