My Lords, on behalf of my noble friend, Lord Salisbury, I beg to move the Motion standing in his name.

Moved, That Standing Order No. 35 be suspended for the remainder of the Session for the purpose of giving Government Business (except with the consent of the Government) precedence over other Notices and Orders of the Day, and that Standing Order No. 41 (No two stages of a Bill to be taken on one day) be suspended for the aforesaid period.—(The Earl of Onslow.)
