§ Brought from the Commons.
§ EARL FORTESCUEMy Lords, I beg to move that this Bill be read a first time.
§ Moved, That the Bill be now read 1a.—(Earl Fortescue.)
§ EARL JOWITTMy Lords, it is unusual to say anything on an application for First Reading, but I should like to ask a question, in which I think I speak for many noble Lords. Having never myself seen a horror comic, I should like to know whether it would be possible to put specimens in the Library of the House—as I believe was done in another place—in order that we may see what we are dealing with.
§ EARL FORTESCUEThe answer to the noble and learned Earl is, Yes.
§ On Question, Bill read 1a, and to be printed.
