Clause 13, page 13, line 31, at end insert— ("(2) Any council who become or cease to be a food and drugs authority under the last foregoing section in consequence of the publication of any census shall become or cease to be such an authority on the first day of April next after the expiration of a period of six months from the publication of the census or, where an application for directions under that section in respect of the borough or district concerned is duly made, on such later date, if any, as the Minister of Health may determine. (3) Any directions given, or having effect as if given, by the Minister of Health under the last foregoing section may at any time be revoked by the Minister as from such date as he may determine; but except as provided by this subsection and subsection (5) of that section, such directions shall continue in force notwithstanding the publication of any subsequent census in respect of the area to which they relate.")
