My Lords, I beg to move the Motion standing in my name on the Order Paper.

Moved, That Standing Orders Nos. XXI and XXXIX be considered in order to their being dispensed with for the purpose of giving precedence over the Second Reading of the Cotton Bill to the proceedings in regard to the Industrial Diseases (Benefit) Bill, the Royal Irish Constabulary (Widows' Pensions) Bill, the Merchant Shipping Bill and the Civil Defence (Electricity Undertakings) Bill, and in order to take the said Bills through their remaining stages.—(The Marquess of Salisbury.)
