My Lords, on behalf of my noble friend, the Minister of State for Scottish Affairs, I beg leave to introduce a Bill to amend and consolidate certain enactments in Scotland relating to food, drugs, slaughterhouses and knackers' yards, and for purposes connected therewith. I beg to move that this Bill be read a first time.
