Report from the Committee for Privileges, That the dignities of Earl of Dundee and Lord Inverkeithing were created by Letters Patent under the Great Seal of Scotland dated the 8th September, 1660, in favour of John, 3rd Viscount of Dudhope, with limitations to his heirs male whomsoever; that the claimant, Henry James Viscount of Dudhope, Lord Scrymgeour, is the heir male of the said Patentee and is now entitled of right to the dignities of Earl of Dundee and Lord Inverkeithing: read, and to be taken into consideration to-morrow.
