My Lords, I beg to move the Motion which stands in my name on the Order Paper.

Moved, That in the event of a Message being received from the Commons that they have passed the Consolidated Fund (No. 2) Bill, Standing Orders Nos. XXI and XXXIX be considered in order to their being dispensed with for the purpose of giving precedence to the said Bill over the other Orders of the Day, and for the purpose of passing the Bill through all its stages.—(The Marquess of Salisbury.)
