THE LORD CHANCELLORMy Lords, I beg leave to introduce a Bill to validate under the law of England and Wales, and restrict to charitable objects, certain instruments taking effect before the sixteenth day of December, nineteen hundred and fifty-two, and providing for property to be held or applied for objects partly but not exclusively charitable, and to enable corresponding provision to be made by the Parliament of Northern Ireland. I beg to move that this Bill be read a first time.
