THE EARL OF ONSLOWMy Lords, there is rather a long list of speakers for the debate to-day, and my noble friend the Leader of the House, who unfortunately is unable to be present at the moment, has asked me to say that it is thought best that we should sit through dinner this evening. But should it appear by 5.30 p.m. that the debate is likely to run much longer than we now expect, perhaps it would be for the convenience of the House if it were then ascertained, through the usual channels, whether that arrangement should be altered.
