HL Deb 28 April 1953 vol 182 cc51-2

5.4 p.m.

THE LORD CHANCELLOR (LORD SIMONDS)

My Lords, I beg to move that the Lord Kershaw be discharged from serving on the Joint Committee on Consolidation Bills, and that the Lord Milner of Leeds be named of the Committee in his place. In doing so, I think your Lordships would wish me to thank Lord Kershaw for the time and care that he has generously given to this work and to regret the reasons which have impelled him to resign from it; and also to thank Lord Milner for undertaking the task. My Lords, I beg to move.

Moved, That the Lord Kershaw be discharged from serving on the Joint Committee, and that the Lord Milner of Leeds be named of the Committee in his place.—(The Lord Chancellor.)

On Question, Motion agreed to, and ordered accordingly.
