HL Deb 18 March 1952 vol 175 c765

2.36 p.m.

EARL JOWITT

My Lords, I beg leave to ask the Government the following Question, of which I have given private notice—namely, whether they have any statement to make regarding alterations in the postal service.

THE LORD PRIVY SEAL (THE MARQUESS OF SALISBURY)

My Lords, I am afraid my noble friend the Postmaster-General has not yet arrived. Perhaps the noble and learned Viscount will be willing to postpone his Question and I will get in touch with my noble friend as goon as I possibly can. I hope this suggestion will be satisfactory to the noble and learned Viscount.

EARL JOWITT

Certainly. To-morrow would do, or some other convenient time.
