THE LORD CHANCELLOR

My Lords, this is another Motion standing in my name and which I hope, in the circumstances, may be regarded as formal. It includes a Schedule which I need not read verbatim. I beg to move.

Moved, That an humble Address be presented to Her Majesty under section seven of the Emergency Laws (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act, 1947, praying that the enactments specified in the Schedule hereto, which would otherwise expire on the tenth day of December, nineteen hundred and fifty-two, be continued in force for a further period of one year until the tenth day of December, nineteen hundred and fifty-three.
