HL Deb 08 April 1952 vol 176 c34

2.40 p.m.

EARL FORTESCUE

My Lords, before we come to the business on the Order Paper, may I be allowed to intervene in order to inform the House that, owing to the large number of your Lordships who have given notice of their desire to take part in to-morrow's debate on Foreign Affairs, we shall sit late that day. It has been arranged, through the usual channels, that there shall be no dinner adjournment, and dinner will be served from seven o'clock onwards, if your Lordships will be good enough to place orders at the office in the Peers' Dining Room.
