§ LORD SHEPHERDMy Lords, before the House adjourns I have a brief announcement to make about future business. It is proposed that the House should adjourn its sittings for public business on Wednesday, March 21, or Thursday, March 22. It would, I think, meet with the general convenience of the House if we could adjourn on the former date. But, as your Lordships know, we are not entirely our own masters in these matters; we are very much dependent on another place for the Bills that may need to be put through. We desire to facilitate matters so far as we can, however, and we therefore propose to postpone the Committee stage of the Rag Flock and Other Filling Materials Bill from March 22 until April 10. After the Recess, the House will meet on April 3.
