Clause 2, page 2, line 5, after ("continuation") insert ("or in the case of a tenancy expiring on or after the twentieth day of November, nineteen hundred and fifty, at all times during the period beginning with that date and ending with the date of continuation.")

The Commons disagreed to the above Amendment for the following Reason:

Because the Amendment would deny certain tenants the protection of Clauses 1 and 2 of the Bill.

My Lords, the third and last Amendment in this group is substantially the same, and relates to the holding over period. I beg to move that this House do not insist upon the Amendment to which the Commons have disagreed.
