Clause 3, page 4, line 40, leave out ("Act, 1936 (Amendment)")

LORD SHEPHERD

My Lords, there are only two Amendments to this Bill, and both of them were inserted in another place merely to simplify the Title. As your Lordships will see, they merely omit "Act, 1936 (Amendment)." These Amendments were made with the full consent. of the Opposition in the other place and, therefore, I am hoping that they will meet with a similar reception in your Lordships House. I beg to move that this House do agree with the Commons in the said Amendment.
