HL Deb 03 April 1951 vol 171 c1

2.36 p.m.

LORD SHEPHERD

My Lords, after discussion through the usual channels, it has been decided to ask your Lordships to sit to-morrow until 7 p.m. If, by that time, the Committee stage of the Forestry Bill has not been concluded, it is proposed to finish it, if possible, on Thursday after-noon. The only business at present on the Order Paper for Thursday afternoon is a Question by the noble Lord, Lord Meston, That Question will be taken after the Committee stage of the Forestry Bill.
