§ LORD SHEPHERDMy Lords, it may be convenient for me to inform the House, before we proceed to the Business on the Paper, that it is proposed to adjourn our Sittings for Public Business for the Whitsuntide Recess on Wednesday, May 24, and to resume on Tuesday, June 13. It may, however, be necessary to provide for a purely formal meeting on the morning of Friday, May 26, for the purpose of receiving Bills from another place.
