HL Deb 13 June 1950 vol 167 c644

7.11 p.m.

Order of the Day for the Second Reading read.

THE LORD CHANCELLOR

My Lords, I beg to move that this Bill be now read a second time. This is the Bill which I promised to introduce when your Lordships were discussing the Diplomatic Privileges (Extension) Act, 1950. It reproduces in a consolidated form, without amendment, the law contained in the Diplomatic Privileges (Extension) Acts of 1944, 1946 and 1950. I beg to move.

Moved, That the Bill be now read 2a.—(The Lord Chancellor.)

On Question, Bill read 2a, and referred to the Joint Committee on Consolidation Bills.
