HL Deb 13 June 1950 vol 167 c566

2.59 p.m.

VISCOUNT ADDISON

My Lords, it may be well that I intervene at this moment. I understand that it will be acceptable to all Parties if at an appropriate time I make to this House a statement similar to that which the Prime Minister will be making in another place with respect to negotiations suggested by M. Schuman. I believe that it will be made at about 3.45 p.m., but we shall of course consult the convenience of the House.

VISCOUNT SWINTON

My Lords, I am sure the whole House will he obliged to the noble Viscount for his remarks.
