LORD CROOK

My Lords, I beg to ask the Question which stands in my name on the Order Paper.

[The Question was as follows:

To ask His Majesty's Government whether they will make available to members of this House copies of the Report of the Committee on Legal Departments of the Civil Service referred to in paragraphs 31 to 33 of the Report of the Committee on Higher Civil Service Remuneration (Cmd. 7635) as the Barlow Committee.]

THE MINISTER OF CIVIL AVIATION (LORD PAKENHAM)

My Lords, copies of the Report have now been placed in the Printed Paper Office.

LORD CROOK

My Lords, I thank the noble Lord for having secured the removal of the Treasury ban imposed for security reasons in 1944.
