HL Deb 21 July 1949 vol 164 cc355-6
LORD SHEPHERD

My Lords, before the House adjourns during pleasure until six o'clock, I have to announce that the formal meeting to-morrow will take place at eleven-thirty.

VISCOUNT SIMON

My Lords, I take it that on our resumption after the adjournment, the Committee stage of the Adoption of Children Bill will be taken at once.

LORD SHEPHERD

That is right.

[The Sitting was suspended at four minutes past four o'clock and resumed at six o'clock.]
