My Lords, in the debate last week on the status of Newfoundland, I gave notice at the time that I proposed to submit a Bill touching that matter. Therefore, I ask leave now to present this Bill entitled "Newfoundland (Liberation) Bill," a Bill to restore self-government to Newfoundland. I hope that your Lordships will give this Bill a First Reading, which I now beg to move.
